The Jagaban and His Master Plan.

As we all know, there's currently an ongoing plan set in place to construct a mega city out of Lagos, one that will be void of flooding, traffic congestion, poor drainage systems or power supply and waste management. The plan was set in place by Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his administration as lagos state governor and was handed down to his successor Babatunde Raji Fashola which he eagerly took over and furthered the already ongoing work. Although the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode was meant to and even kinda took part in the process, there were rumours of him trying to deviate from the plan thus placing him at odds with the Tinubu which inadvertently led to his loss of followers thus making him lose out on the primary elections of the APC which Bola Tinubu himself came out to confirm saying he drifted away from the already set out master plan for the state.

So for those who keep asking about what really is the master plan Tinubu keeps emphasizing on, it's a blueprint that when eventually achieved would put not only Lagos state but Nigeria at the forefront of African prosperity and economic glory. As its been said that Rome wasn't built in a day. This process also isnt one to be hurried or have it's completion anytime soon because not only are the contractors taking their time, there's actually a whole lot of work being put in place in order to actualize this vision. Although some parts of the mega city has been completed and is ready  inhabitants of homes and companies won't move into the Eko Atlantic city yet until the whole project is totally completed. A plot of land is said to cost about a million dollars and the demand by stakeholders and companies are already high because the sand filling process is almost completed and like I already mentioned,  some parts are already completed. Unlike many other unfulfilled past projects in the country, this promises to be seen through till the very end because not only is it being handled by the one of the best construction companies in the world (same company responsible for the construction of palm island, world island etc), the whole idea is being overseen by a very competent and intelligent person Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubi, who since his tenure never failed to deliver on his word or see any of his projects to perfect completion. In the subsequent paragraph, I'll briefly familiarize you with a brief and concise narration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's early life.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu was born into the Illustrious and popular Tinubu family of Lagos, He attended Richard Daley college Chicago Illinois where he earned himself a place in the school's honours list. He subsequently proceeded to Chicago state university where he obtained a bachelors degree in business Administration (accounting and management). During his undergraduate years, he was awarded with the outstanding students award, the university scholars award and a certificate of merit in accounting and finance. On his arrival in the united states in the year 1975 with the support of his mother, this courageous youth faced with a zeal to succeed took on such menial jobs such as dish washing, night guard and cab driving just to see himself through the initial difficulties of keeping up with tuition fees and settling of other bills. In his final year, young Bola contested for and won his first political election as the president of the accounting society of Chicago state university. Upon his graduation, he came out with honours and later moved on to work with Deloitte Huskins and Touche GTE service corporation which is on of the largest communication and utility company in the united states. After a while he returned to the country. His political career began in 1992, on the platform of the Social Democratic party, after being elected to the senate. He was given the popular JAGABAN title in Niger state after some philanthropic gesture shown during a tough time for the community and state. In 1999 He went on to contest an win the governorship election of lagos state under the Alliance for Democracy (AD). He also got his mandate for a second term in 2003. He is married to chief Mrs Oluremi tinubu, the senator representing lagos central. He is fondly referred to as the sovereign of lagos state and is revered by many being the national APC chairman.
