Plastic surgery may be defined as the process of repairing or reconstructing parts of the body by the transfer of tissue either for treatment of injury or cosmetic purposes. It can also be referred to as a surgical specialty involving an alteration of one or more body parts.
Over the years there has been a rise in the use of plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes. Literally every part of the body can now be "fixed" or enhanced. This has led to outrageous backlash either from the moral or the religious points of view. You'd often hear people condemn the procedure saying it's not necessary and it's an evidence of low self esteem.
However, I think there isn't anything wrong with having "work done" on your body if you notice an insecurity or slight abnormality. Asides that, you may also decide to make yourself look better (if you can afford it). So long as you do not go over the top with it or go to a mediocre place that will get you botched.
Conclusively, the world keeps getting more advanced and we should update our thinking and principles too. Statistics show that over 2 million people in the world have undergone one form of plastic surgery or another. From politicians to celebrities to monarchs and regular citizens, the list is endless so work hard, make that money and go get the perfect look that'll make you happy. You deserve it !
